Come and hear about the experiences of a group of us from Brighton and Hove Palestine Solidarity Campaign who travelled to Palestine in 2017 on an in-depth study tour of the situation on the ground. We will discuss: disappearing villages, the Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem, child prisoners, destruction of Bedouin villages in the Negev, the city of Hebron where Palestinians are under seige and attack, racism in Israeli society, and the use of law to enforce apartheid.
Eyewitness accounts from recent visitors to Palestine are vital for our understanding of the political realities. Speakers will also convey to us messages from activists in Palestine about what they see as the priorities for international solidarity campaigners. Join us if you can.
