Brighton & Hove Palestine Solidarity Campaign (BHPSC) was founded in 1997. We campaign for the rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to self-determination and the right of return for refugees. We support the struggle to achieve these rights against the dispossession and apartheid policies of the Israeli state and its military occupation of Palestinian lands. The Brighton and Hove group is one of the largest and most active of the more than 80 local groups affiliated to the national Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
BHPSC is a group of people of all ages, backgrounds and faiths. We are united in our commitment to the Palestinian cause, and we oppose racism of all kinds. We are committed to the international movement for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS). The movement targets Israel’s economic, educational, cultural and sporting bodies to put pressure on Israel to comply with international law and to uphold Palestinians’ human rights.
