Brighton says “NO to Israeli settlement business in our town”: The EcoStream campaign
Since early in September 2012, pro-Palestinian activitists in Brighton & Hove have waged a steady campaign to protest against the presence of the EcoStream store in Western Road. The campaign has now become one of the main frontlines in the global movement for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS), aimed to accelerate progress for the self-determination of the Palestinian people and to expose Israel’s human rights abuses. We demonstrate outside the shop every Saturday from 1pm till 3pm – join us!

Brighton & Hove Palestine Solidarity Campaign, working closely with other pro-Palestinian activist groups in the city, are currently focussing energy and attention on the EcoStream store in Western Road in Brighton. Since the store opened late last summer, we have held regular leafleting demonstrations outside the store. We are trying to dissuade customers from using the store, and explaining to the general public how EcoStream and the company that owns it are deeply complicit in the occupation and ethnic cleansing of Palestine. |
