Picket of Hove Town Hall called by Brighton & Hove Trades Council

Disgracefully, not one Labour councillor on Brighton & Hove City Council has spoken out against the genocide being inflicted on the people of Gaza by Israel. The people of Brighton & Hove demand that changes!

Over 600 Labour Councillors nationally have protested, and many have resigned from the Labour Party altogether, in response to Keir Starmer’s support for Israel’s genocidal attack on Gaza and his refusal to criticize Israel’s murderous attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank.

Not one Labour councillor in Brighton & Hove has spoken up against Genocide in Gaza. People in Brighton & Hove are overwhelmingly opposed to Israel’s bombing of hospitals, schools, ambulances and the murder of over 10,000 civilians, including 5,000 children in Gaza, yet Labour councillors say nothing, hear nothing and see nothing. We demand that they take notice of what their citizens are saying.
