March to Remember 3 Years of Gaza Genocide

Please join Brighton & Hove Palestine Solidarity Campaign and many other local anti-racist and solidarity groups on Sunday 11th October. We’ll be coming together at The Level from 12pm for a huge march through the city, remembering the appalling milestone of three years of ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Our march marks one year (virtually to the day) since a ‘ceasefire’ came into effect in Gaza on 10th October 2025. Calling it a ‘ceasefire in name only’ seems pathetically inadequate, as Israel’s gleeful butchery has continued unabated; its land theft and ethnic cleansing expanded.
Many hundreds of thousands of forcibly displaced Palestinians face a third consecutive winter under bombardment, hungry, living in worn-out tents and makeshift shelters in ever-shrinking pockets of land. Let’s call them what they are: concentration camps.
In the last 12 months under a ‘ceasefire’, Israeli Occupation Forces have killed over 1300 Palestinians in Gaza, including 300+ children. Not all were directly murdered by the IOF. Just last week, 21 people, including 12 children, were reported to be killed and many more injured when a war damaged residential building collapsed. A slow motion genocide is still a genocide.
But the good news… people the world over now see Israel and its founding ideology Zionism for the racist, supremacist anachronisms they’ve always been. And the Palestinian liberation cause is now the greatest struggle of our time.
