Join call for Ibeyi to cancel Tel Aviv gig

October 27, 2015

ibeyi nov 2015Two musicians called IBEYI are playing in Tel Aviv at the end of November.
They are on tour and will be in Brighton on 2nd November.
We have sent this letter to them, asking them to meet us and put in the case of why they shouldn’t play in Tel Aviv.

People involved in the cultural boycott campaign think there is a good chance that we will be able to persuade them to cancel Tel Aviv, so it’s really worth putting some effort into this.

What you can do:

Meet 7pm onwards on Monday 2nd November outside Concorde2, Madeira Drive, Brighton to leaflet the gig calling on the fans to call on them to cancel the gig in Tel Aviv. Ibeyi’s set is scheduled to start at 9.30pm, so it would be good if some people came down at 8pm or 8.30pm to catch those going into the venue then. (They are also playing in London on 3rd November and people will be leafleting there as well.)

Send messages to their Facebook page: ibeyimusic

Tweet @IbeyiOfficial and call for cancellation of Nov. 24-25 Tel Aviv dates. Use #BDS and RT @BDSmovement

Please keep messages respectful – we’re aiming to persuade, not harangue.
