Saturday 2 August: Act for the People of Gaza

August 2, 2014

Date/Time
Date(s) - 2 Aug 2014
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

With the news from Gaza becoming more unbearable every day, it’s even more important for us to to build on the magnificent momentum we have gained in recent weeks, and to keep up a strong presence in the town.

This weekend we plan to change the pattern and the pace, after the more symbolic demonstrations over the past three weekends, which have received spectacular support from the people of Brighton.

We are therefore calling on people to ACT FOR THE PEOPLE OF GAZA on Saturday 2nd August, assembling at the Clock Tower at 2pm, well after the Pride Parade has left central Brighton.

More specific plans for Saturday will be announced at the Clock Tower when we assemble at 2pm. Please bring your placards, flags and banners. Please spread the word.

See you on Saturday – and please don’t forget about our emergency Public Meeting for Gaza on Thursday evening. Details elsewhere on this website.
