– A talk by Prof John Newsinger

Come and hear how Britain’s commitment to creating a Zionist colony in Palestine, its brutal suppression of the Palestinian Revolt and its encouragement of Jewish immigration, helped cause the Nakba and today’s injustice.

John Newsinger is professor of history at Bath Spa University. He is the author of British Counterinsurgency: from Palestine to Northern Ireland (2002) and The Blood Never Dried: A people’s history of the British empire (2006)
