Brighton & Hove PSC is pleased to announce the third in our monthly series of Zoom meetings in the Brighton-Palestine Connect series.
The meetings provide an opportunity for BHPSC members and supporters to connect with and hear directly from Palestinian activists, writers and others.
In this third meeting, we have another impressive line-up of guests. They will join us from the West Bank and from the UK, to brief us on current political issues and developments within the Palestinian body politic and civil society, and to share with us their assessment of the way forward for Palestinians and for the international solidarity movement.

Diana Buttu is a Ramallah-based lawyer, political analyst and policy advisor to Al-Shabaka, the Palestine Policy Network. Diana Buttu is a former advisor to Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestine Liberation Organisation. |

Mudar Kassis is Director of the Muwatin Institute for Democracy and Human Rights at Birzeit University in the West Bank. His research interests include democratisation, decolonisation, the concept of dignity, the everyday, human rights education, research ethics, measuring the state of democracy, political corruption, and populism. |

Bashir Abu-Manneh is Reader in Postcolonial Literature at the University of Kent. He is author of The Palestinian Novel: From 1948 to the Present (2016) and has edited a collection of articles about Edward Said as theorist and public intellectual entitled After Said (2018). He is also a regular contributor to Jacobin magazine. |
