“In January 2015 I achieved my ambition of living and working in Palestine for 3 months, having just retired from 40 years of nursing. Living in AlAzza refugee camp with Echlas who is wheelchair-bound provided an insight into everyday life in Palestine with its deprivations and restrictions but also the warmth, humour and resilience of the people.”
