Yesterday’s massacre in Gaza was truly appalling – over 50 unarmed Palestinian protesters murdered, and at least 1400 injured, in the bloodiest single day in Gaza since 2014. Israel is committing war crimes, and is applauded by the USA at its new embassy in Jerusalem.
These are indeed dark days for the Palestinian people, but their steadfast resistance is inspiring. Let’s show them that they are in our hearts and in our minds by a dignified display of solidarity. On NAKBA70 Day we owe this to our comrades in Palestine.
Gather at 6pm today (Tuesday 15 May) at the Clock Tower in central Brighton. We’ll have banners and placards. Join us if you can.
