CEASEFIRE NOW! March and Vigil
This Sunday, 17th December, 2pm start at Hove Peace Statue
As Israel’s relentless assault on Gaza continues & the toll of death & destruction mounts, the US, UK governments & our local politicians continue to refuse to call for an immediate & lasting ceasefire.
The Brighton & Hove Ceasefire Coalition of 20 local groups calls on the people of our city to join a mass march & vigil to increase the pressure & show solidarity with the people of Gaza.
MEET 2pm at Hove Peace Statue
Children & young people will lead the march, which will end at Victoria Gardens opposite the King & Queen pub.
Please bring signs, candles, toys, children’s shoes, objects to help build a powerful memorial installation to show our grief, anger, love & solidarity.
