Prompted by the inspiring case recently brought to the International Court of Justice by the Republic of South Africa, we are pleased to welcome Andrew Feinstein and Nimi Hoffmann to discuss the vital connections between the anti-apartheid struggles in South Africa and Palestine, and the lessons to be learned for our current solidarity work.
Please note that space in the room is limited, so we will be admitting people on a first come, first served basis, starting at 7pm.
Andrew Feinstein is a former African National Congress (ANC) Member of the South Africa Parliament from 1994 till 2001. Now based in the UK, Andrew is the Executive Director of Shadow World Investigations, a role he previously performed with Corruption Watch UK from its inception. He is a prolific writer and speaker, author of the best-selling After the Party: Corruption, the ANC and South Africa’s Uncertain Future, as well as the critically-acclaimed The Shadow World: Inside the Global Arms Trade, which was short-listed for the Alan Paton Prize for Non-Fiction.
Nimi Hoffmann is a Lecturer in International Education and Development at the University of Sussex, and a member of South African Jews for a Free Palestine
