Monday:
6pm (Arts A1) – Palestinian Students Panel – A fantastic oppurtunity to hear 3 Palestinian students speak about life in Palestine and in the Palestinian diaspora.

Tuesday:
6pm (Arts A1) – Palestine 101 – An introduction to the modern history of Palestine with Dr Jacob Norris, a lecturer in Middle Eastern History and author of ‘Land of Progress: Palestine in the Age of Colonial Development, 1905-1948’. This is the perfect chance to learn about Palestine if you’ve always wanted to know more but have never been sure where to start.

Wednesday:
2pm (room tbc) – Lemon Tree Film Screening – The story of a Palestinian widow who must defend her lemon tree field when a new Israeli Defence Minister moves next to her and threatens to have her lemon grove torn down.

Thursday:
6 pm (Arts A103) – G4S Campaign Launch – The launch of Sussex Friends of Palestine Society’s new campaign to kick G4S off campus! With NUS Black Students Officer Malia Bouattia and other speakers to be confirmed.

5-7 pm (room tbc) – A Palestinian cultural evening where we’ll enjoy some wonderful Palestinian food.
