THE EUROPEAN UNION – ITS RELATIONSHIP TO ISRAEL & PALESTINE
We have recently seen the EU impose restrictions on their links to Israel as regards the Occupied Territories. This was described as an “earthquake” by some Israeli commentators. Is it a big deal and how much of a victory was it for the BDS movement? What should we be demanding they do next?
How does the EU relate to both sides in this conflict and what are the political implications of the economic support the EU gives to the Palestinian Authority?
