BHPSC will be hosting a film night from 19:00 on Thursday 19th December at Friends Meeting House. We’ll be showing “Alternativity”, a play staged and filmed by Banksy, Danny Boyle and Riham Isaac, a Palestinian film maker.
Filmed in 2017 in occupied Bethlehem under the shadow of the separation wall and military watchtower, it highlights the harsh realities of life under occupation.
Since then the situation has worsened considerably in Bethlehem, as it has across the entire occupied territories, leading to Pastor Munther Isaac announcing the cancellation of Christmas for another year.
We’ll be collecting donations on the door for the fantastic charity Defence for Children International Palestine (DCI-Palestine) so even more reason to attend. Find out more about their hugely important work here: https://www.dci-palestine.org/
