The suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza is unimaginable. The death toll has now exceeded 1000 and continues to rise daily. Almost 80 percent of the dead are civilians, and almost half of the injured are women and children.
Mass demonstrations have been held in Brighton for the past three weekends, and 100,000 were on the streets of London on the 19th of July. The British people want to express their support and solidarity and sympathy for the Palestinian people, but also their outrage over Israel’s impunity, and the complicity of our own government.
People also want to know what they can do to end the carnage and collective punishment, and to bring about an end to the siege of Gaza. It’s time for the international community to stand up for Palestine, to STOP ARMING ISRAEL and to build international solidarity.
Join us for this emergency public meeting to hear up-to-date news from Gaza and to learn what you can do to help.
