‘Life After Israel: Possible Palestinian Futures’
After Gaza, what hope is there? What can the future mean for Palestinians in a world where their genocide is not only tolerated, but rewarded? Kieran Andrieu will make the case that there are four possible routes to Palestinian liberation, none of which are either guaranteed or implausible. First, Israeli collapse. Second, resistance emanating from the diaspora. Third, a recalibration in global power relations. Fourth, America falls out of love with Israel.
Despite an ostensibly hopeless moment, there are good reasons to believe that we are on the threshold of some combination of these four conditions. Our task, then, is simple: to be ready.
