An announcement about our concert on Saturday June 4th

To our many supporters and friends:

Some of you may be aware of the enormous difficulties the Gazan musicians have had obtaining visas and travel permits in order to travel to the UK and perform in Brighton. The past weeks have been extraordinarly challenging and stressful – not least for the four young musicians from the Gaza Music School, who are so much looking forward to their trip to the UK.

We are very pleased to announce that, as of Friday afternoon, the Gazans have successfully exited Gaza, travelled across Israel, entered Jordan, and are due to fly overnight from Jordan to the UK, arriving Saturday morning. Our expectation is that the concert will then go ahead as planned on Saturday evening.

We are naturally looking forward with great excitement to welcoming the musicians to Brighton. Please check our website, Facebook page and Twitter feed for any updates.
